Living a life "sold out" for a cause looks different for everyone. Our family is definitely different and we are completely "sold out" for living for Christ! This is a little about the crazy life of living for Him and where He will take us.

Question
So I've been rambling on now for quite a while just telling the day to day stuff. I'm looking for some blog ideas: What would you like to know about Ndu? Or Cameroon? Or what we are doing? Do you want pictures of anything in particular (keep in mind it takes over an hour for just a few pictures). Just thought I would ask since I might be missing something that you are just curious about. Thanks for the feedback!

I would love to know what the people are like! I also love the pictures you paint with your blog of what the land and areas of Cameroon look like. I almost feel like I am there with you!
ReplyDeleteI
Thanks for sharing many of the little details of your days. It is so interesting to read and ponder as we go about our day to day stuff. I really enjoy your perspective and style of sharing. The day to day people stuff is great. I love to hear of your conversations with the local people and how they are so close to the Lord and His ways because they have few worldly distractions.
ReplyDeleteWe know what Drew is doing, and you and Ellie, but there's not been much about the boys. I've heard that African men are, shall we say, less than industrious. What is your take on this? Have you been able to observe family life in Ndu firsthand? The stories and insight you share are amazing, we feel as though we are there with you. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI just love your blog Marie! I really do.
ReplyDeleteThings are so different than in America, like your extra fabric not being returned or the drum gift to the church. There were issues like that when our Liberian children first came home. Not being in Liberia ourselves it was hard to understand things like that. We were a tad hard on the kids over 'misundertanings' like that but instead maybe should have looked at it as a cultural difference and trained with that perspective in mind instead.
I just love how your blog is right now. I would think it would be fun if your kids and Drew were guest posters as well.
I will keep praying for you all!!!
Thank you for being so open with the good and the not as good!!
Love, Tina
